Guild Wars 2 release date

Nothing official has come from ArenaNet about this yet, so don't take it as absolute fact, but at least two retailers have posted a release date for GW2, EB Games and Newegg. Both of them list it as coming out early November, within one day apart from each other, so maybe it's a good estimate at least for now.

I figured this would be a good time to create a thread dedicated to release date info anyway, so please post any additional info found about GW2's release date here (and please include links whenever possible).

I heard that the beta was gna be released in 2010 (Q4 most likely) and the full game was gna be released in 2011.

We can only hope. Most cases dates given by retailers are place holders for games. So they can at least have something to document. More often than not these ates will get bumped around, or at least until the producers give a solid date.

Yeah, that's what I think too. Although the closeness of the two dates seems to indicate that they at least didn't just pull those dates out of thin air, and may have at least some small degree of legitimate reason backing them. Who knows though, nothing is official until ArenaNet says somethnig themselves.

and even then it could change. ugh
