Favorite Folktale/Fairytale?

So, as a Cultural Anthropology/Folklore student (when I finish college) I have a huge interest in folk beliefs and mythology. I recently found a book of tales with my all time favorite folk tale The Saving of Tamlin. It's about a young woman that saves a man from the Fairy Realm despite the best attempts of the Fairy Queen to stop her. I would like to know if any of you have a favorite old tale like that or some interesting little piece of folklore you'd like to share.
