wiki really slow?

for the last week or so (maybe more) I've had huge problems accessing the wiki, the page takes minutes to load and sometimes doesn't load. all other internet pages seem to work fine.
Major pain when I'm trying to bring a mission map up

changed the DNS servers in my router and problem seems gone.
lucky timing?

Not sure why only GW wiki would have been slow to resolve by my previously chosen DNS servers
